You've built a life that looks good on paper.
Now it's time to create one that feels that way too.
Because nothing is “wrong” with you.
The way you’re feeling right now is what happens when capable, high-performing people operate under sustained pressure for too long - and no one shows them a different way.
Until now… welcome to Still Wellness.

"I truly believe that how we spend our days is how we spend our lives."
I’m Amanda Balcombe, an award-winning Health & Mental Fitness Coach, a professional member of the Health Coaches Australia & New Zealand Association and the HCANZA 2025 Health Coach of the Year.
In 2021, after a 17-year career as a high-performing Financial Advisor, I experienced burnout, followed by a cancer diagnosis. Before this happened, my life looked good from the outside... I had a loving husband and two beautiful, healthy children, and yet I felt completely disconnected from myself, depleted, with a sense of knowing that life wasn’t meant to feel this way.
And that experience changed everything. Not just my career, but how I understood health, stress, success, and what it truly means to thrive.
Away from work, I’m someone who finds a lot of joy in the simple things:
An almond cappuccino in the sunshine. A good book. A real conversation with someone who leaves you feeling energised. A family dinner with my adult children. Walking the dogs with my husband each day. A game of tennis.Travel.
Taylor Swift (yes, I’m a Swiftie!). A full moon, sunsets, and those small moments that can so easily pass us by when life gets too busy.
Connection and presence are some of my deepest values. Because I truly believe that how we spend our days is how we spend our lives. And often, the life people are craving isn’t found in doing more but in returning to what matters most.

Why this work matters to me
I’ve always been fascinated by what drives people.
Why do smart, capable people ignore their own needs for so long? Why do we keep pushing through when it’s clearly costing us? Why do we know what would help… and still struggle to do it? What support actually helps people to create positive, sustainable change?
And that innate curiosity led me to this work.
Today, I combine evidence-based coaching, lifestyle science, and mental fitness strategies to help people change how they relate to pressure, stress, and their own internal world, so they can feel calmer, clearer, and more in control again.
Because burnout is not a personal failing. And feeling better doesn’t need to be reserved for “someday” anymore.

I take a different approach from many coaches...
I don’t try to remove pressure from your life or work.
Pressure isn’t going anywhere and for most of the people I work with, stepping back isn’t always realistic. Instead, we focus on building the mental flexibility to respond to it differently, so you can stay clear, steady and effective without it costing you.
This isn’t about more habits, routines or things to add to your to-do list.
Most of my clients already know what would help; they just can’t consistently follow through when they’re under pressure. The work we do together closes that gap, so change actually holds in real life, not just in theory.
I’m not here to “manage your stress” with vague promises of eliminating it. I’m here to change how you operate within it.
This is about building a level of self-awareness, regulation, recovery and self-trust that allows you to think clearly, respond intentionally and feel more like yourself again at work, at home, and in the moments that matter.
